Founded in 2021, the Austin Brass Collective (ABC) is an ensemble of professional musicians dedicated to bringing exciting performances and brass-focused music education to Central Texas. The organization is passionate about inspiring and connecting our community through accessible, engaging, and inclusive musical experiences, while also providing performance opportunities for brass musicians of all ages and experience levels. Since its inaugural season, ABC has used creative programming and innovative arrangements to delight audiences across many different settings, including regional music conferences, concert halls, schools, and retirement communities. 

 

In addition to performing, ABC embraces its responsibility to the next generation of brass musicians. Through the ABC Youth program and collaborations with local public schools, the ensemble is committed to cultivating a vibrant culture of brass education. Members of the ensemble regularly provide clinics and school performances, as well as program “side-by-side” concerts where young brass musicians perform alongside our seasoned professionals.

 

Austin Brass Collective became a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2022, EIN 88-1289748.
