Mitch Gilly
Arranger

Mitch Gilly is a Lebanese-American Composer, Arranger, Saxophonist, Woodwind Multi-Instrumentalist, and Educator based in Austin, TX. As a Composer, he has written for wind ensemble, jazz band, musical theater, orchestra, pit band, multiple standard and nontraditional chamber groups, film, and video games.
Mitch graduated with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition and Saxophone Performance from Baylor University in 2021, then again with a Master’s Degree in Music Composition in 2023. Since graduating, he has had numerous ensembles perform commissioned works. While studying at Baylor, Mitch was able to win a Music Arranger position for All-University Sing!, a 75+ year Baylor Tradition that has become very well-known in the Central Texas area.
When not working in music, Mitch is an avid gamer, hiker, baker, and mixologist. He dreams of opening a Jazz Barcade where people can listen to jazz arrangements of Video Game Music while playing vintage arcade games.
